We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at Support Services of Virginia. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in Hampton Roads, VA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily lives
  • Help individuals achieve their goals and live independently
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure high-quality support services
  • Participate in virtual training and interviews via Zoom
Requirements:
  • Proof of highest level of education
  • Able to pass criminal/registry background checks and tuberculosis screening
  • Ability to maintain First Aid/CPR/AED Certification, Medicaid Waiver Certification, and Direct Support Professionals Core Competencies
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
