Job Overview

The Licensed Therapist position is a temporary assignment offering a competitive hourly rate of $44. Located in Saint Simons Island, Ga., this role provides quality mental health treatment and addiction services to adults and adolescents.

As a key member of the treatment team, the successful candidate will provide clinical supervision, guidance, and developmental support for program staff, while ensuring adherence to established treatment plans.

About the Role

This 3-6 month temporary assignment offers an excellent opportunity for licensed clinicians to gain experience in an inpatient setting. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care while fostering a supportive environment for growth and development.

Responsibilities

This role involves:
  1. Completing initial assessments and psychosocial histories for assigned patients;
  2. Developing individualized crisis plans;
  3. Providing clinical oversight to ensure adherence to treatment plans;
  4. Maintaining collaboration with the Admission Department to support initial screenings;
  5. Ensuring group, individual, and family therapy coverage.
Additionally, you will maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with colleagues, and adhere to established policies and procedures.

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must possess:
  1. A current license as a Clinician in the state of GA;
  2. At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting;
  3. Proficiency in computer systems and heavy data entry experience;
  4. Prior experience in an inpatient setting (preferred).
Salary: $44/hour.
