We are looking for a talented and driven Wireless and Electromagnetics Research Scientist Lead to contribute to our mission by employing a fundamental physics approach to develop advanced wireless topologies for wearable technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct research initiatives in wearable wireless architecture, collaborating closely with a diverse team of wireless specialists.
  • Implement research strategies and facilitate the transition of new antenna, module, and wireless system advancements to product development teams.
  • Engage with researchers, hardware engineers, and integration teams to exceed current technological benchmarks.
  • Inspire and utilize innovations in materials and engineering from partner teams to create new wearable architectures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • PhD or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Over 10 years of experience in the wireless domain.
  • More than 10 years of experience in developing and advancing technology from research to market.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various wireless systems, including electromagnetics, antennas, RF silicon systems, and RF modules.
  • Proficiency with simulation platforms for assessing wireless performance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven history of delivering innovative wireless device architectures to market.
  • Experience in integrating finite element analysis with practical measurement techniques.
  • Demonstrated success in addressing complex technical challenges with analytical thinking and decision-making.
  • Experience collaborating across extensive, multidisciplinary teams to tackle demanding problems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills that facilitate the introduction of new technologies and product categories in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in providing technical leadership to high-performing teams.
