Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at Hillcrest Hospital/Laurens County Hospital. As a PRN Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our interdisciplinary treatment team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Treatment Plans
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address patients' speech and language needs.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Provide Patient Education and Support
- Deliver patient-centered education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on speech and language disorders, progress, and long-term outcomes.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families throughout the treatment process.
- Document Patient Progress and Outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress.
- Utilize standardized evaluations and assessments to inform treatment decisions and measure patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- SC SLP Licensure or Compact Commission Certification
- Basic Computer Skills and Knowledge of Office Equipment
