Custodian Team Member at Crayola Experience is responsible for maintaining environmental and infection control standards within established policies and procedures. The successful candidate will perform and oversee a variety of janitorial, custodial tasks to maintain a clean and safe building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and service restrooms, sweep, vacuum, and mop floors and stairways, gather and dispose of rubbish and waste materials.
  • Window and Glass Maintenance: Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
  • Dusting and Polishing: Dust furniture, file cabinets, and windowsills using treated dust mittens, cloths, or hand-cleaning items.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of cleaning and toiletry supplies.
  • Additional Duties: May perform snow removal and salting duties at entrance ways, assist with evacuations and emergencies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior experience cleaning a family attraction, institutional or educational setting preferred.
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Availability: Required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Skills: Must be able to follow detailed directions, complete tasks quickly and effectively, maintain prompt and regular attendance, and possess strong oral, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Certifications: Must maintain First Aid and CPR certification and be familiar with infectious materials clean-up and removal.
