Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse II to join our team at Arkansas Children's. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our young patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective patient care, prioritizing the physical, emotional, and educational needs of our patients and families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze patient data, identify areas for improvement, and implement evidence-based practices.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of our healthcare services and patient care.
  • Mentor and educate colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college program or technical school, or nursing diploma.
  • 1 year of experience in nursing, with a focus on pediatric care.
  • RN License (AR or Compact State) - Arkansas State Board of Nursing (ASBN).
  • Certification specific to patient population.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Demonstrated performance of 100% at the previous level and score within documented RN II/III levels via ACHieve career ladder for internal employees.
