Job Overview

Tact Staff is actively seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in the ICU - Intensive Care Unit for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

Position Details

Shift Information: ICU Nurses DAY 7A - 7:30P
Certifications Required: AHA BCLS, ACLS, PALS
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in ICU
EMR: Proficiency in EPIC is required.
Floating: May require Med Surg duties.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Must possess a BSN or higher from an accredited nursing institution.
  • Valid RN License to practice in the relevant state.
  • Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience is preferred.
  • Required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, PALS. CCRN and TNCC are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Skilled in managing patients with various complexities, including EVD and multiple medication drips.
  • Experience in trauma patient care of varying severities.
  • Ability to perform assessments using CAM, CPOT, and RASS.
  • Knowledgeable in hypothermia treatment protocols.
  • Familiarity with pleurevac chest tube drainage care.
  • Must adhere to strict infection control protocols.
  • Must comply with the standard operating procedures and critical care practices.
  • Experience with PCA pump usage is a plus.
Schedule

Typical hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. A minimum of 34.5 hours is guaranteed, with no overtime expected.
