About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Bus Driver to join our team at West Virginia University. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation services to the university community and its visitors.

Your primary duties will include driving assigned buses on scheduled routes, ensuring quality service and rider safety for all passengers, and maintaining buses in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive assigned bus on scheduled route.
  • Ensure quality service and rider safety for all passengers.
  • Inspect assigned bus and maintain bus in a clean, orderly and safe condition.
  • Develop and implement efficient transportation systems to meet the needs of the university community.
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • At least one (1) year of driving experience required, preferably in congested and/or residential areas.
  • DOT check.
  • Drug Test.
  • Class A or B Commercial Driver's License required (Class C holders will be considered but must obtain a Class B within 45 days of hire).
