About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team on a 13-week assignment in Norfolk, Virginia. As a travel Radiology Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

This position involves working as a Radiation Technologist - X-Ray, providing patient care and administering imaging procedures. You will be responsible for monitoring patients' responses to interventions, reporting outcomes, and maintaining accurate records. A successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
  • Monitor and evaluates patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit.
  • Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other health team members.
  • Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members.
Requirements
  • One to three years experience as a Radiation Technologist preferred.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
