Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in our nursing team, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes. As an LPN at Avera Brady Health and Rehab, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you can grow and develop your skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for enhanced care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Licensed Practical Nursing license in the state of South Dakota.
  • Basic Life Support and Expanded Role certification within six months of employment.
  • Minimum of three years of healthcare experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.
Work Schedule

The LPN will work night shifts, with a 72-hour schedule every two weeks. This includes:

  • 6:00 pm - 6:30 am shifts.
  • Every third weekend.
  • Every third holiday.
  • Occasional call time.
Compensation

The hourly range for this position is $22.75 - $31.50 per hour, dependent on experience.
