Position Overview:
The Physical Therapist Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to patients with various conditions. This position involves assessment, intervention, education, program planning, and implementation, as well as discharge planning and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage daily schedules to maximize the use of time, space, and equipment for optimal patient care.
- Implement appropriate treatment methodologies based on current best practices tailored to individual patient diagnoses.
- Conduct relevant tests and measurements to accurately assess patient conditions and needs.
- Establish clear, measurable objectives that align with patient evaluations.
- Create and execute treatment plans that are directly supported by established goals.
- Assist in the training and development of team members, providing educational support as requested.
- Maintain precise and timely documentation of patient records to reflect progress in accordance with departmental standards.
- Complete necessary departmental and corporate documentation accurately and promptly.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Licensure:
- Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Tennessee.
Experience:
- No prior experience required.
