Job Summary

As a Scaffold Helper at Brown & Root, you will be responsible for assembling and erecting scaffolding structures to support construction activities. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work at heights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble scaffold components, including handrails, mid rails, and planks, to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Brace forms in place using timbers, tie rods, and anchor bolts to support concrete piers, footings, and walls.
  • Secure scaffolding to permanent structures using tying techniques.
  • Erect scaffolding for buildings and other structures, installing ladders, handrails, walkways, platforms, and gangways as needed.
  • Inspect base surfaces for obstructions and ensure scaffolding is properly secured.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent physical fitness, attention to detail, and the ability to work at heights. Previous experience in construction or a related field is an asset.
