Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the nursing assessment by gathering, documenting, and communicating both objective and subjective information.
  • Deliver direct patient care in a safe and effective manner.
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan.
  • Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery within your assigned area.
Education and Training Requirements
  • Technical Degree or Diploma in Nursing - LPN required.
Experience Requirements
  • No prior work experience is necessary.
Licenses and Certifications Required
  • BASIC LIFE SUPPORT certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse certification in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee from the respective State Boards of Nursing.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This position does not include supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
Physical Requirements
  • Physical activities may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motions.
  • Good balance and coordination are essential.
  • The role requires medium work, involving exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 25 lbs. of force frequently.
  • Close visual acuity is necessary for assessing patients, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading.
  • Frequent interaction with patients, including exposure to body fluids and hazardous materials.
  • Ability to respond swiftly to emergency situations is required.
