GYMGUYZ often serves as the final destination for clients determined to transform their bodies. We conduct thorough assessments of our new clients' health and fitness through a proprietary, technology-driven process that allows us to customize their fitness programs, ensuring effective training sessions from the outset.

Position Summary

The Certified Personal Trainer will deliver one-on-one personalized fitness instruction, guiding clients toward their health and fitness objectives. A GYMGUYZ Trainer will provide expert guidance tailored to each client's wellness goals while maintaining the highest level of customer service. Adaptability to various work environments, including private residences and offices, is essential.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Tasks
  • Implement the workout regimen developed from the initial assessment.
  • Select customized exercises that yield optimal results based on client needs.
  • Demonstrate each exercise, ensuring clients perform them correctly, with or without modifications.
  • Document session notes after each training appointment.
  • Conduct client reassessments every 4 to 6 weeks.
  • Manage client sessions using GYMGUYZ scheduling software.
  • Facilitate payment collection from clients as necessary.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate client appointments.
Behavioral Expectations
  • Inspire clients to reach their physical limits while providing encouragement and support.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and effectively manage appointments and rescheduling.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Safety and Environment
  • Ensure exercise equipment is kept clean and in optimal working condition after each session.
  • Guarantee safe and effective use of equipment by clients and/or groups.
  • Protect the integrity of each client's home, office, or chosen setting.
  • Apply first aid procedures and respond to emergency situations as needed.
  • Drive and maintain the GYMGUYZ cargo van for business purposes only.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the Personal Trainer role.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of personal training experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic understanding of nutrition and healthy living practices.
  • Knowledge of various exercise equipment and personal training methodologies.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Certified Personal Trainer from an accredited organization (NCCA or DEAC).
  • CPR/AED certification.
  • Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. and perform athletic calisthenics duties.
