Job Summary: Six Flags is seeking a skilled and artistic individual to join our team as a Sign Artisan. This role requires a strong eye for detail and a passion for creating visually stunning signs for scenic and promotional purposes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sign Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on signs throughout the property to ensure they are in good condition.
  • Sign Creation: Design and construct signs using various materials, including vinyl application, power tools, and painting/lettering.
  • Project Management: Work independently to complete assignments and projects on time, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Leather Repair: Repair and replace leather work on ride attractions.
  • Collaboration: Assist other maintenance departments with park tasks and work with the Special Project Foreman as needed.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Age and License: Must be at least 18 years old with a valid California Driver License.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Working knowledge of basic power tools, previous sign or artwork experience, and knowledge of Flexi/Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator, and Roland Printers.
  • Availability: Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
