Verrill Dana is in search of a Litigation Associate to enhance our Litigation Practice Group. As a prominent law firm in New England, we are committed to attracting skilled professionals who are eager to contribute to our success. Our Litigation Practice Group is recognized for its extensive experience in managing a diverse range of litigation matters. Our attorneys have successfully handled over six hundred (600) jury and non-jury trials, in addition to numerous arbitrations and mediations. We pride ourselves on our dedication to collaborating with clients throughout the litigation journey, addressing intricate legal challenges while ensuring exceptional service quality.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five (5) years of litigation experience, with a judicial clerkship being advantageous. Strong research and writing capabilities, along with an impressive academic background, are essential. Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills are required for effective interaction with colleagues and clients. A genuine interest in practicing law in Connecticut is necessary, and occasional travel may be required based on business needs. Admission to the Connecticut Bar is mandatory, while New York Bar admission is a beneficial addition.
