Job Description

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist Level II to join our team in Baldwin Park, California.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during surgical procedures by performing scrub duties, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies, adhering to strict sterilization protocols.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care, from pre-operative preparation to post-operative recovery.
  • Participate in departmental performance improvement activities, contributing to the development of new procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Two years of experience in operating room scrubbing or equivalent military experience, including a variety of surgical procedures.
  • Graduate of an approved surgical technologist or military equivalent program.
  • Surgical Technologist Certificate from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or National Center for Competency Testing Certificate - Technologist in Surgery.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
