Child Clinical Psychologist

The Clinical Psychologist will assume a pivotal role in leading a diverse clinical team focused on the treatment of adolescents aged 13-17 within a Partial Hospitalization Program. This position involves a shared leadership dynamic with the clinical manager and psychiatrist. Key responsibilities encompass clinical oversight, program innovation and assessment, alongside direct patient care. The program operates Monday through Friday from 9 am to 3 pm, and we seek individuals who are adaptable, growth-oriented, and dedicated to providing culturally sensitive care.

Our approach is rooted in a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) informed framework, which includes DBT skills groups, individual and family therapy, as well as team consultations. Skills coaching is integrated into the program, with no after-hours coaching required. The psychologist will offer guidance to the team, particularly to mental health therapists, conduct psychological assessments, co-facilitate caregiver support groups, and lead daily skills training sessions. Additionally, the candidate will provide therapy coverage as necessary.

Supervision in DBT and other relevant areas will be provided as needed.

Required Qualifications:

PhD, PsyD, or Ed.D. in psychology, specializing in child clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program.

Completion of an APA-approved internship.

Formal post-doctoral training in a relevant specialization.

Availability for evening and weekend work as required. Required Credentials:

Licensed as a Psychologist in the State of Washington.

Prior to commencing employment, candidates must secure and maintain in good standing medical or allied health professional staff privileges that are not limited, revoked, suspended, conditioned, or probationary, except for standard probationary periods due to initial appointment.

All medical and allied health professional staff members are provisional for the first year.

Any medical or allied health professional staff privileges at the institution will automatically terminate upon the end of employment.

Termination of employment does not prevent the individual from seeking medical or allied health professional staff privileges as a non-employee in any category for which they qualify.

Post-doctoral experience in pediatric psychology.

Experience in a pediatric healthcare environment.

Compensation Overview:

$111,921 - $176,283 annually.

Salary Information:

This compensation range is based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are influenced by various factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the provided range.
