St. Luke's Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Oncology team in Twin Falls, Idaho.
About the RoleThe Clinical Oncology Triage Nurse is responsible for prioritizing walk-in and telephone triage encounters to address presenting symptoms with focused assessments, management, patient teaching, and coordination of patient care needs.
Key Responsibilities- Prioritize and manage triage encounters to ensure timely and effective patient care
- Conduct focused assessments and develop management plans in consultation with providers and key team members
- Provide patient education and support to promote informed decision-making and self-care
- Coordinate patient care needs with outside health associates, such as insurance and pharmacies
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- One (1) + years' RN experience
- Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Health & Safety Institute
- Preferred: Oncology, triage and/or clinic experience
