Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist - Clinical Expert to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing professional pharmaceutical care to patients to ensure positive drug therapy outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional pharmaceutical care to patients to ensure positive drug therapy outcomes.
  • Responsible for the intake of prescription orders and the efficient fulfillment and accuracy of orders.
  • Implement and maintain drug utilization management concepts and activities.
  • Supervise professional staff relevant to proper dispensing techniques and checks of medications dispensed.
  • Assist employees in performing all technical/clinical department activities.
  • Motivate and challenge staff to complete jobs consistently with accuracy and speed.
  • Conduct staff education on Non-Sterile compounding guidelines of state, federal, and accrediting agencies.
  • Assure regulatory compliance to all pharmacy rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • Must be licensed as a pharmacist in the state.
  • Prefer two (2) years' experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Exhibit proficient computer skills.
  • A valid Texas driver's license.
  • Ability to read and write record information as directed.
  • Prefer computer knowledge in Microsoft Office Products.
