Job Overview:
As a caregiver, you will not only provide individualized and attentive care but also cultivate meaningful relationships with those you assist. You should be detail-oriented, highly organized, and dedicated to fostering a healthy environment that addresses patient needs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this position. Previous experience in Home Health or Hospice care is advantageous.
Service Areas: We have opportunities available in various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including mobility and range of motion exercises.
- Safely transfer clients in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or vehicles.
- Support clients by changing bed linens, performing laundry, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with personal hygiene.
- Document patient care, conditions, progress, or concerns, and communicate observations with supervisors.
- Foster relationships with clients through conversation or reading to promote mental well-being.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Encourage clients to engage in exercises or other beneficial activities.
Qualifications:
- Valid Professional License for CNA, or Certification for HHA and PCA.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one year of relevant professional experience.
- Valid driver's license required.
- CPR / First Aid certification is preferred.
