Position: In-Process Inspector
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections on components during the welding and fabrication processes.
- Support the Inspection Department with final evaluations as required.
- Examine documentation and blueprints to ensure compliance with job specifications.
- Utilize measuring tools such as blueprints, tape measures, and calipers effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of metals and materials.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
- Detail-oriented with strong planning capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, particularly with team leads and colleagues.
- Understanding of materials and tooling with an emphasis on best practices.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Compliance with personal protective equipment requirements (e.g., safety glasses, shoes).
Educational Background:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Compensation:
- Starting pay range of $20-$24/hour, depending on experience and knowledge.
Work Schedule:
- Shifts of 8-10 hours.
- Monday through Friday.
- Daytime hours.
