As a Senior Electrical Engineer Team Leader at our Miami, FL office (Hybrid onsite/remote), you will have the opportunity to mentor a team designing unique projects involving EV & PV Distribution, clean rooms, labs, or commercial hi-rises with integrated sustainability and building infrastructure for large-scale mission-critical data center projects.

Responsibilities
  • Execute electrical designs in accordance with the Electrical Department's Procedures and Standards and specific client standards where applicable.
  • Work in conjunction with Managing Principal, Project Managers, and Electrical Team Leader to plan work and balance deliverables with budgets.
  • Maintain understanding of project schedule, status, and technical issues. Review all designs issued prior to client submission with supervisor and Department Head.
  • Lead technical teams and deliver designs for various clients. Provide support to assigned staff on technical and administrative issues.
  • Maintain strong understanding of all associated Codes and Standards and ensure compliance in all Team activities.
  • Continuously improve the Team's deliverable quality, communications, attitude, and efficiency.
  • Manage budgets and scope of work. Perform Construction Administration tasks such as field visits and subsequent issuance of field reports, responding to RFIs, and reviewing shop drawings.
Operations and Staff Development
  • Actively manage technical tasks and project efforts within the Electrical Team in close coordination with the Electrical Lead, balancing deliverables, client expectations, and budget based upon the allocated fee.
Essential Skills & Requirements
  • Exceptional knowledge of Excel, Revit, SKM, AGI 32, and AMPCALC 4 required.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Proven Leadership experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Degreed (BSEE preferred) and licensed or ability to attain licensure in MA within one year.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in MEP consulting, design-build, architectural, or construction companies.
  • PE highly preferred; LEED preferred.
