Job Summary:

JESCO, Inc. is a leading provider of heavy construction equipment and technology solutions in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Operations Director to manage our Service Department's day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily shop service work, prioritizing tasks, allocating resources, and maintaining equipment efficiency.
  • Ensure all work performed is accurate, timely, and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, technicians, and customers regarding tool updates and repair status.
  • Collaborate with the PIP coordinator to implement improvements for applicable machines.
  • Liaise with manufacturers for diagnostic support and technical assistance.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities to upsell additional services and enhance satisfaction levels.
  • Proactively communicate repair progress with customers and internal departments.
  • Resolve customer/service issues promptly, minimizing inconvenience and maintaining a positive dealership image.
  • Address serious grievances, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with the parts department for efficient ordering and pre-pulling of parts.
  • Process shop service work orders from order status to invoice status, controlling technician hours efficiently.
  • Submit warranty documentation to the warranty administrator and monitor warranty claims until final credit memo issuance.
Requirements:
  • Deere Level 1, Deere Level 2, or Deere Capstone Certification (desired)
  • Valid driver's license meeting insurance underwriting requirements
  • Prior experience in service management and/or customer service (preferred)
  • This role may require working during a State of Emergency, as deemed essential by the company.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on industry standards and regional costs.
