Overview

Quincy Medical Group (QMG) is a multi-specialty group practice with over 155 physicians and providers, serving West Central Illinois, Southeast Iowa, and Northeast Missouri for over 85 years.

We are dedicated to transforming the care we provide to our communities, and we are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant to join our Orthopedics team.

Responsibilities

As an LPN/MA in our Orthopedics department, you will play a key role in providing hands-on care and support to our patients.

This role involves assisting with a wide range of orthopedic procedures, performing patient assessments, applying casts and braces, administering medications, and educating patients on post-surgical care and rehabilitation.

You will work closely with our physicians, nurse practitioners, and physical therapy teams to deliver quality care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a licensed LPN or certified Medical Assistant with experience in a clinical setting, particularly in orthopedics or another specialty clinic.

Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a team, and a commitment to patient care are essential. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and an understanding of orthopedic terminology and procedures is preferred.
