Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Weis Markets. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving concerns in a polite and professional manner.
  • Operate front-end scanning equipment and register, perform all related checkout procedures, and maintain accurate cash handling and security procedures.
  • Identify and shop customer orders in a timely fashion to ensure accurate and fresh orders.
  • Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, marketing promotions, and store layout to answer customer questions and provide recommendations.
  • Responsible for general sanitation in the department, following cleaning schedules and department guidelines to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Cooperate with colleagues and superiors to ensure smooth operation of the department and store.
Requirements
  • Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • No prior experience required.
