Job Opportunity: Medical Physicist - Radiation Therapy Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our esteemed team at Hannleb Medical Physics Inc. As a Radiation Therapy Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of radiation therapy treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and ensure the quality and safety of radiation therapy treatments.
  • Collaborate with oncologists to optimize treatment plans and improve patient outcomes.
  • Perform regular equipment calibrations and quality assurance tests to maintain optimal performance.
  • Provide expert advice on complex clinical issues and assist in troubleshooting to ensure seamless treatment delivery.
  • Implement new radiation services and technology to stay at the forefront of medical physics advancements.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Physicist with a strong background in radiation therapy.
  • Experience with Eclipse and ARIA is preferred, as well as familiarity with Varian, MIM, and Radformation.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety.
