We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at the Alaska Native Medical Center. To be considered for this role, you must have the following certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Job Details

This is a full-time NICU RRT position with a start date of ASAP. We require a minimum of 2+ years of experience in the field, and we are not accepting first-timers. The successful candidate will be required to work every other weekend, with the possibility of varying to every third weekend based on the schedule and needs of the facility.

We are looking for a clinician who is willing to float within their scope to meet the needs of the facility. This may include working in the CCU, Flex Unit, SDU, PEDS, or PICU. The candidate should be open to accommodating a block schedule, although this will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

We offer a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours to help cover breaks and lunches. All OR nurses and OR Techs on 12-hour shifts are scheduled for an additional 4 hours to help cover breaks and lunches. 12 hour OR nurses and OR Techs will be guaranteed 40 hours per week.

We require the successful candidate to have experience working in the PICU, NICU, and Adult ICU. This is a critical role, and we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team.
