Typical Responsibilities:

  • Operate a tractor in and around the facility or on public roads, transporting various types of trailers
  • Conduct pre- and post-shift inspections of the tractor/yard truck
  • Safely maneuver the tractor/trailer throughout designated lanes and areas
  • Maintain cleanliness within assigned tractor/trailer and designated areas
  • Inspect trailers to verify their condition before movement
  • Load and unload freight and supplies, or assist in these tasks
  • Adhere to all safety policies and practices

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 2 years
  • A current CDL Class A and a clean driving record
  • Any necessary endorsements for Hazmat and Tanker (if applicable)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience operating various types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
