We are seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide service to our customer base by repairing and overhauling equipment, such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical and mechanical control devices. You will also perform general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, including air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors.

Responsibilities
  • Provide service to the customer base by diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities to ensure quality work performance for the customer base.
  • Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and/or mechanical skills.
  • Maintain legible corporate and personal records of work history.
  • Process job tickets and work orders promptly.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years' experience in commercial refrigeration, HVAC, ice machines, gas furnace, and electrical required.
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • EPA certification.
  • Certification from an accredited vocational-technical or trade school is a plus.
  • Experience working on refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus.
