We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Materials Project Engineer to join our team at HVJ Associates. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for supporting project managers and staff to ensure client satisfaction through detailed calculations, engineering analyses, and field assignments.
Key Responsibilities- Manage projects to meet HVJ Associates' financial goals and quality standards
- Provide project deliverables on schedule and within budget
- Assist project managers with project tasks, including data entry, coordination, and project communication
- Perform lab testing and field testing as necessary
- Assist with laboratory calibration and accreditation-related tasks
- Develop proposals for future work
- Guide and mentor junior staff
- Provide client satisfaction and assist with business development
- BSCE or MSCE with at least three to five years of directly related construction materials testing experience
- Licensed Texas EIT/PE (preferred)
- Excellent written and communication skills, strong math and science skills
- Valid Texas Driver's License with no history of accidents or alcohol/drug-related traffic offenses and valid right to work documents
