Job Summary

CDS Visual is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in 3D visualization engineering. This role involves collaborating with Product and Engineering Teams to develop and design new functionality for various SaaS web and server-side applications. The ideal candidate should be a creative problem solver with strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Design, test, and implement technical solutions across a full-stack of development and tools and technologies within an Agile team
Lead and contribute to 3D visualization tooling and architecture
Create innovative solutions for large scale 3D data management and WebGL based tooling
Write maintainable, scalable, and modular code for software solutions
Integrate API functionality into the core platform dashboard using JavaScript/React
Advocate for consistent, quality, and decoupled code by writing unit tests and performing code reviews
Collaborate across multiple codebases and services
Breakdown complex functionality into manageable deliverables
Participate in technical documentation for new or existing features
Motivate, collaborate, and challenge team members to grow individually and as a team

Requirements

At least 4 years of 3D web development experience
Extensive knowledge in Three.js, GLTF/GLB formats, and pipelines
Strong expertise in TypeScript and the React framework
Understanding of AWS services, web components, and npm artifacts
Familiarity with popular CAD systems and CAD data transmission formats
High level understanding of platform architecture and APIs
Ability to apply CI/CD concepts on AWS/Azure
