Job Summary

The Nurse Extern PRN role at Texas Orthopedic Hospital involves delivering high-quality patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, the Nurse Extern assists the nursing staff in providing patient care, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and supporting the patient care team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the nursing staff in providing patient care, including delegated basic patient care services.
  • Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment.
  • Support the patient care team in achieving high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must be currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing and have completed at least 1 year of nursing school, including the Fundamentals of Nursing course.
