Job Title: Transportation Specialist

Humboldt County Memorial Hospital is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Transportation Specialist to provide transportation services to meet the needs of our patients, residents, and community members. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely transporting individuals on scheduled appointments, group outings, and other activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Follow daily schedules of appointments and errands to ensure timely transportation
- Assist with shopping needs for SIL, SAL, and LTC residents as required
- Communicate effectively with residents, coworkers, and supervisors to ensure accurate scheduling and transport arrangements
- Clean and maintain the interior and exterior of the bus, including specialized equipment such as wheelchair lifts
- Collect and calculate transportation fares and vouchers from consumers

Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License with Chauffeur's License (Class D) permit
- Working in aging-related environments experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and deliver excellent customer service

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
