We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our team at one of our in-center hemodialysis units. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and high-quality care to patients, working collaboratively with a patient care team to ensure the best possible outcomes. Key responsibilities include preparing dialysis machines and treatment supplies, performing hemodialysis treatments, and monitoring patients during treatment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, demonstrated clinical excellence, and a desire to collaborate with care teams. **Responsibilities:**

* Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met
* Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures
* Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching
* Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families
* Administer and chart all prescribed medications
* Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
* Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews
* Document required patient education efforts
* Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
* Assist in medication inventory maintenance
* Lead a small patient care team
* Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed
* Additional tasks as requested

**Qualifications:**

* Excellent communication skills
* Demonstrated clinical excellence
* Desire to collaborate with care teams
* Ability to problem solve

**Education/Training:**

* Accredited nursing degree required
* Dialysis experience not required, job shadow opportunities available
* DCI provides 3-months of comprehensive training, including classroom group sessions and one-on-one skills training
* New graduates encouraged to apply
