Physician, Gastrointestinal Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Gastrointestinal Pathologist to join our team at the West Virginia University Health System. As a clinician-track faculty member, you will have the opportunity to practice in a rapidly expanding advanced GI endoscopy and surgical services environment.
Key Responsibilities- Practice luminal GI, pancreas, and liver pathology exclusively or in conjunction with other subspecialties of interest
- Active involvement in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
- Additional responsibilities and leadership roles will be considered based on your interests, skills, and experience
- MD, MD/PhD, or DO degree
- Board certified in AP or AP/CP
- Successful completion of a fellowship in GI pathology or substantial experience signing out complex GI/liver/pancreas/biliary cases
- Eligibility to obtain a state medical license at the time of employment
The West Virginia University Pathology Department is a rapidly growing department consisting of faculty in AP, CP, Translational Pathology, Anatomical Sciences, and Medical Laboratory Sciences. Clinical AP services are committed to Digital Pathology and are supported by state-of-the-art ancillary testing.
