Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

Resources For Human Development is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at The Family Practice & Counseling Network (FPCN). As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families across the lifespan.

Job Summary:

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of primary care services to patients of all ages, from infants to elderly. Your duties will include medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, referral, and follow-up. You will also be responsible for managing acute and chronic conditions, both simple and complex, and for practicing evidence-based care.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provides primary care services to patients of all ages, including medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, referral, and follow-up.
  2. Manages acute and chronic conditions, both simple and complex, and practices evidence-based care.
  3. Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs.
  4. Documents patient care in a timely and accurate manner, meeting acute care compliance standards.
  5. Consults with collaborating physicians and other healthcare team members as needed.
  6. Prescribes diagnostic strategies and therapeutic interventions as needed.
  7. Meets productivity standards and established goals.
  8. Participates in meetings, mandatory in-services, educational programs, and other activities to stay informed and current.
  9. Maintains required continuing education credits.
  10. Supports FPCN's commitment to creating a trauma-informed system of care.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
  • Current RN and CRNP licenses from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Nationally recognized advanced practice certification or in progress.
  • Physical and emotional ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills.
  • Understanding of psychosocial impacts of health outcomes in underserved communities.
  • Cultural competency and sensitivity.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive and professional relationships.
  • Ability to create a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
What We Offer:

Resources For Human Development offers a competitive salary range of $101,000 - $135,500 based on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
