About the Role

Kettering Health is seeking a skilled Echocardiogram and Vascular Ultrasound Technician to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds following ICAEL and ICAVL accredited guidelines.
  • Work closely with cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Exercise initiative and independent judgment to produce high-quality ultrasound images.
  • Provide care to patients in all settings, collaborating with other interdisciplinary personnel as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with new procedures and equipment, and adapt to changing patient needs.
Requirements
  • Registry by Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
  • ECHO certification
  • Registered in both adult echocardiography (RCS or RDCS) and vascular ultrasound (RVS or RVT)
  • Graduated from an accredited school of Ultrasound/Sonography
Preferred Qualifications
  • Echo & Vascular On-Call Required
  • Must be registered in one modality and become registered in the other modality within 6 months
  • Must live within 30 minutes of hospital
