We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced part-time Foreign Language Research Analyst specializing in Chinese to join our team in Dayton, OH. As a Foreign Language Research Analyst, you will play a critical role in sourcing, translating, organizing, analyzing, and summarizing information on topics of interest to our customer.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international affairs, area studies, economics, intelligence studies, or any science, technology, engineering or mathematics discipline. They should also possess excellent language skills, research experience, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing, translating, organizing, analyzing, and summarizing information on topics of interest from foreign research publications, peer-reviewed journal articles, papers, audio files, or video clips.
- Preparing reference documents, drafting research papers, and presenting findings in formal briefings; populating databases with key information.
Qualifications:
- Able to obtain a Top-Secret clearance with SCI adjudication.
- Currently enrolled in and completed at least 3 years of instruction towards a Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs, Area Studies, Economics, Intelligence Studies, or any science, technology, engineering or mathematics discipline.
- Intermediate to advanced language proficiency in Chinese.
- Experience with web-based research.
