The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and portioning a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and portion sizes
* Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, saut burners, convection oven, flat top range, refrigeration equipment, and adhere to all DHEC regulations for cleanliness and sanitation
* Refer to the Daily Prep List for each shift and complete opening and closing checklists
* Promptly report equipment, food quality problems, or product shortages to the Chef

**Requirements for Success:**

* A minimum of one year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
* Positive energy and a willingness to assist fellow support staff and work as a team player
* Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests
* Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
* Constant standing/walking with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting
