Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) - Retail Pharmacy Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our healthcare services team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting healthy lifestyles in our communities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert medication counseling and advice to patients, ensuring they understand the safe and effective use of their medications.
- Conduct thorough medication reviews, identifying potential interactions and contraindications to ensure patient safety.
- Develop and implement personalized medication plans, taking into account patient medical history, allergies, and lifestyle factors.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medication therapies, treatment guidelines, and regulatory requirements to provide the highest level of care.
- Lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence, empathy, and customer service within our pharmacy team.
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
