About the Role

RPM Living is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance to ensure the overall condition of the property.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of the property to identify and address any maintenance issues.
  • Operate various maintenance equipment, including power washers, trimmers, blowers, and floor scrubbers.
  • Assist in the preparation of make-ready units, including removing trash and performing minor repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies, including OSHA regulations and safety/environmental laws.
  • Report supply needs to the Maintenance Manager and maintain shop organization.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • General knowledge in a variety of skilled trades, including construction/installation, repair, and maintenance.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license.
Work Environment

This role is based on-site and requires that the employee spend time outside with exposure to the elements. May require working in confined spaces, heights, and potentially hazardous areas.
