We are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Engineering Project Manager to join our team at Michael Baker International. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for the pursuit and delivery of transportation-related projects involving preliminary engineering and plans, specification, and estimate (PS&E) projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform technical oversight, staff development, contract management, technical and cost proposal development, project performance, and client management for targeted statewide and regional clients.
- Lead and interact with multi-disciplined teams to deliver complex bridge projects.
- Develop and manage project proposals, including scope of work, cost estimates, and schedules.
- Provide technical guidance to less experienced personnel on specific tasks and projects.
- Manage staff utilization by scheduling, monitoring, and revising assignments.
- Present both oral and written formats to clients and stakeholders.
- Perform quality control and quality assurance for bridge projects of simple and complex nature.
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Engineering Management, or similar degree.
- California P.E. is required.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in bridge and transportation engineering, with a minimum of 3 years managing bridge-related projects or tasks.
- Familiarity with California DOT (Caltrans) standards and procedures.
- Proficiency with bridge analysis and design software programs.
- Experience in using Microstation and Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
