We are committed to fostering a supportive environment that nurtures lasting relationships with our patients, healthcare providers, and the community.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to deliver services at our outpatient facilities on a per diem basis, with opportunities available throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver personalized treatment sessions.
- Design, implement, and execute tailored occupational therapy programs aimed at enhancing, restoring, or maintaining physical function, alleviating discomfort, and preventing occupational challenges.
- Fabricate custom splints for patients as needed.
- Conduct initial assessments, analyze findings to identify issues, and establish a diagnosis prior to initiating treatment.
- Formulate and oversee care plans that promote adherence and yield optimal outcomes for patients.
- Assess treatment effectiveness at various stages and modify interventions to maximize patient benefits.
- Willingness to work with patients of all ages and possess experience in sensory integration therapy.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist program.
- Possession of a valid NY Occupational Therapy License or eligibility for licensure.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in occupational therapy.
- Required certifications: CPR and First Aid.
