About the Job

The City of Aspen is seeking an experienced Horticulturist - Seasonal to join our Parks and Open Space department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing horticultural services to our community.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate daily operations of the floral crew.
  • Assist with fertilizer program and maintenance program for control of plant diseases and insects.
  • Communicate clear instructions to the floral crew on safety protocols and task completion.

Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: One to three years of experience in horticulture.
Licenses & Certifications: Valid Colorado Driver's License or ability to obtain one within 30 days of start date.
