About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Perioperative Care Professional to join our team at UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies Main Hospital. This role will involve providing high-quality patient care in the Operating Room, Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and promoting a culture of excellence in perioperative care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional results. As a Perioperative Care Professional, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, prioritizing wellness and evidence-based practice, and contributing to a safe and effective perioperative environment. You will also model proficiency through precepting new staff members and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

We offer a competitive salary of $52,184 - $78,524 per year, based on relevant experience, as well as a comprehensive total rewards package that includes full medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, PACU, or other related areas.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Prioritize wellness, patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.
  • Model proficiency through precepting new staff members.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • At least 6 months of experience in OR nursing or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
