Middle School SLP Opportunity in Omaha, NE

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at a local school district in Omaha, NE. This is a contract position for the remainder of the school year, covering two middle schools with a caseload consisting of 6th to 8th graders with significant needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments for students referred for possible speech and language needs
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders
  • Develop and present individualized education plans to parents, school administrators, and other stakeholders
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload
  • Report student progress to parents
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development

Requirements:

  • Nebraska SLP license

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, solid organizational abilities, up-to-date knowledge of Nebraska Special Education procedures, and professionalism and accountability.

Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
