Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our Food and Nutrition Services Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff.

This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate and develop your team members. You will work closely with our clinical dietitians to ensure optimal patient care and develop wellness initiatives that promote healthy eating habits. Your expertise in food safety and sanitation practices will be essential in maintaining our high standards of quality and compliance.

• Oversight of daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management
• Leadership and development of a high-performing culinary team
• Collaboration with clinical dietitians to ensure optimal patient care and develop wellness initiatives
• Maintenance of food safety and sanitation practices, adhering to regulatory standards and THS policies
• Participation in budget reviews and cost reduction initiatives
• Development and implementation of training programs for staff

• Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in healthcare foodservice management, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in motivating and developing teams
• Expertise in food safety and sanitation practices, with knowledge of regulatory standards and THS policies
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse and collaborative culture

$80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
