Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant in Yakima, WA. As a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in supporting the mental health and academic success of students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct psychological assessments, including evaluations for special education eligibility, to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
  • Develop and Implement Individualized Plans: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide recommendations for support to ensure students receive the necessary accommodations and services.
  • Provide Counseling and Behavioral Interventions: Provide counseling and behavioral interventions to students as needed to promote social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Collaborate with School Staff: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to address students' academic and emotional needs, and to develop and implement behavioral and academic plans.
  • Participate in Multidisciplinary Team Meetings: Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to the development of behavioral and academic plans, and to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
  • Provide Crisis Intervention and Support: Provide crisis intervention and support as required to ensure students receive the necessary assistance during times of crisis.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress to ensure students receive consistent and high-quality support.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctoral Degree: Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Certification or Licensure: Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Washington.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a School Psychologist in an educational setting preferred.
