Job Title: Physical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Northern Light Health. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients in their homes, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal results.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate physical therapy services for patients in their homes.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to limit physical disability, bodily malfunction, and pain from injury and/or disease.
  • Collaborate with physicians, patients, and family members to achieve optimal results and improvement during implementation of the home care treatment plan.
  • Direct and supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, PT students, and Home Health Aides.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in continuing education and maintain current knowledge of profession.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Maine.
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and agency required auto liability insurance.
  • Ability to lift, move, and load 30 to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and duties as needed.
Working Conditions:

Potential exposure to abusive and/or aggressive people, hazardous materials, noxious odors, very hot or cold temperatures, and diseases or infections. Must be able to travel to perform responsible duties and work with computers, typing, reading, or writing.
